People Poetry

People poetry is a coloration between the UH graphic design program and Nine-mile press to design book based on existing writings of unpublished authors. The design of the book is specifically laid out to create a sense of space and breathing those contrasts with the heavy topics mentioned in the book. The cover features custom type and illustration as well as the rest of the chapters in the book. The book itself is pocket sized at a ratio of 7x5in creating a personal and small meaning to the shape of the book.
