Clown alley is a series of books documenting the history and types of clowns that have existed though out time in a format that is both digestible and appealing to a younger audience. The first book takes the reader through the early beginnings of clowning around. The second is that of field guide that categorized and explains modern day clowns through fun illustrations and sectioned off typography. The third and final book is an expressive experimentational typography of a clown-based poem especially created for this project.

Book 1: History
The first volume takes readers on a journey through the rich and often surprising history of clowns, tracing their evolution from ancient theatrical traditions to their contemporary manifestations in circuses, films, and modern performances.
Book 2: Field Guide
The second book serves as a comprehensive field guide to the visual language of clowning. Filled with detailed illustrations and descriptions, this guide categorizes different types of clowns based on their appearance, persona, and performance style.
Book 3: Philosophy
The third volume addresses the deeper, more introspective side of clowning. What does it mean to “be” a clown, not just in the performance sense but as a way of seeing and interacting with the world?
